Love these scissors
1 of 1 found this helpful Love these scissors, invented for appliqué work but are great for getting the stitch ends when doing machine embroidery .
They are a nice weight and well balanced and sharp.
My new favourite tool.

Decovil lite, My new favourite
I used Decovil light for the first time this week.
I LOVE this , it has a nice handle and adheres well. It’s like nothing else I’ve used. it’s almost like a thin playable silicone sheet.
Gives a nice clean finish. Great for lots of projects.
Did you know you can use a cutting machine to cut this?
I have been making clutch bags for 6 bridesmaids... I cut this on my cameo cutter to the size of the sewing line.
Using a cutter you can...
* get excellent accurate cut and minimise waste, by simply rearranging until you have most economical cut.
* no struggling to trim back or thin out seams,
* you get a perfectly symmetrical pattern piece and by just by following the line of the interlining your get perfect curves!
It is easy to cut by hand and is quite playable unlike some that feel more like cardboard!
After turning right side out, it had no lifting, even in the corners and fewer than expected creases that iron out easily, even on the linen I used as a prototype for testing the pattern.
