Tefal GV9580G0 NEW Steam Generator Station Iron Pro Express 2600w Blue & White

Good but could be better

This is the 4th Tefal steam generator I’ve owned. It is okay, not as good as earlier models from a decade ago. The build quality is not the same anymore. The iron will run out of steam as you are ironing and you’ve got to keep the button pressed before you hear the generator starting up again and then blasting you with steam which borders on being a bit dangerous. You have to get used to it’s quirks. This was a like for like replacement for a previous steam generator that lasted barely 2yrs and had the same temperament. If you can live with it running out of steam intermittently then it does the job of ironing clothes quickly.
