They work, but these can jam the lock, compared to the genuine OEM product.
0 of 1 found this helpful These springs cost about 1/3 the price of real Kwikset springs, but the poorly tapered ends jam between the cylinder and the pin, jamming the lock up. Your customer will probably never realize you put cheap springs inside the lock, unless he knows about locksmithing. You can save your customer some money, and when one of these jams up, you can make $150-$350 on a service call to come and dig the key out of the lock, and fix the lock. Some people would call that a win win situation. The customer will have no clue someone's shortcut & cheap product ever caused the problem. People shop based on price. If I have to charge an extra $3, for a $10 job, people will go elsewhere, so, I cannot fault these, and those people who shop by price get exactly what they deserve. When their lock jams up and the key won't come back out, that $3 will be long forgotten. You charge them $150 to pick another lock, $50 to dig their key out of this one, and another $30 to fix it, along with a $100 service call. Tadah! You just made $150 to drive out & do a service call, so they could save $3 6 months earlier! The rest of the money goes for overhead & operating expenses. Would I use these in MY locks, for my home or business? Of course not! The real Kwikset springs have a very tight conical taper that insures they will not jam up the bible and jam the pins up, rendering the lock inoperable. Those genuine springs cost $25 though! Yeah! That adds a few buck to the job, and people will go with the lower price, especially when they are dealing with a service that they know nothing about, except the cost.

Awsome resource of tube amp schematics! 1000s of them!
This is a fabulous collection of schematics, and to get it on CD ROM saves you $100 easily.

Swap meet trash.
Uncomfortable junk that slips, slides, prints, tangles, twists and bunches your clothing up. I was given this to carry my new gun while on a long road trip. I threw it in a garbage can at a rest stop. It was so poorly made, only a blind man could not tell I was wearing this piece of horrible trash. It also slid all over the place bunching up my shirt, suit jackets, and undershirt. Absolutely THE WORST GARBAGE IMAGINABLE! Right down there with the Unkle Micks knock off rubbish people sell at the weekly swap meets, along with the worst Asian made tools on the planet, tissue paper socks, and $3 wrist watches.
