G5 without cable
I've had almost every product that logitech has ever developed.
All the gaming mice, G5, G7, G9, G500 were all part of my peripherals that I used for my computer.
G5 was just an amazing mouse and I can honestly say it wasn't lacking anything. It was precise, it was comfortable, it was configurable. G9 had everything like G5 but it is I think more comfortable.
Another thing all logitech products share, is the awful software that logitech provide. To be honest, it takes a certain amount to skill to provide with such a horrible software piece of cr@p.
G7 is exactly like G5. AMAZING mouse, just amazing. It is also wireless, which makes it even more amazing. The 2 most interesting things are: no actual lag noticed, more than 3 meters distance from the receiver and a wall separating them, it works just as perfect as if it is 3 sm from the receiver. This for mouse is just incredible.
1 bad thing is that the batteries kinda run off pretty fast, but at least you get, 1 charging 1 in mouse, so this eliminates this issue.
Overall, it is a great product, don't know why they canceled it.

Good replacement
It works just like new laptop. Hopefully it will continue for a long time

Great combo if it wasn't that expensive
Ok, so I've had a lot of logitech products, and I mean A LOT. I had Wave keyboard with a cable and when I got a chance for a very nice price deal for this combo I just had to have it.
The keyboard is already great, without the cable, even better. Bad thing - the receiver and the keyboard, kinda don't like each other very well. Don't get me wrong, in about 1-2 meters distance, not problem at all, but add a little more and that's when it get reaaaaally frustrating. I was away 4 meters from the receiver and separated by wall and the keyboard worked perfectly in one part of my couch, but if I moved even 20 sm, it lost signal. Move another 20 sm and gained signal. I moved the receiver even closer and there now is actual visibility between the two products (2 meters distance) and again the same thing. I just can't figure out what kind of alien technology this uses. If it was infra red the would not have worked with the wall between them and if it was radio they would have worked without the wall at 2 meters distance, despite the position I was in.
The mouse is very basic. It is comfortable, but not much. It is designed to be ambidexters (left or right handed people) and that's why it fails to be completely comfortable, regardless of your hold. It add nothing special to the table, just plain ordinary mouse. If they had added some other nice mouse, then the price tag for the combo would have been right. With this mouse...no, don't think so.
Overall, nice to get wireless Wave keyboard, and maybe awkward mouse, but it doesn't really support the MSRP price tag it has
