The Essential Billy Joel (CD 2001)
I had never owner a Billy Joel CD before, but my son had one that my wife and him kept borrowing from each other back in the 80's. I had heard many of his songs on the radio and finally saw this collection which has almost all his greatest hits on this one CD. I have owned it a little over a month and have listened to it probably over 30 times while working, and am not the least bit bored with it. From songs like "An Innocent Man" to "Allentown", Billy Joel expresses in words what many of us think ( or have thought )about life's situations. I have purchased many different CDs with collections from both different decades of music to different groups, and this CD has been by far the most satisfying I have ever owned. Obviously I have no problem recommending this Billy Joel CD to any fan of music !

A Christmas Together Denver, John (CD 2006)
This is actually my 2nd copy as my original got "misplaced" between Xmas 2007 and this Xmas 2008.I have always been a huge Muppet fan and liked John Denver's music, so I wasn't sure what to expect the first time I listened to this CD. I fell in love with it immediately and it has become my favorite Xmas collection of the many I own. The harmony between John Denver and the Muppet singers is fantastic and the lyrics are extremely heart-warming and touching for songs like " The Christmas Wish" and "Alfie,the Christmas Tree/It's In Everyone of Us". I'm sure if DJ's played these songs during the holiday season this album would be a classic like "The Christmas Story" became in videos. The collection also contains many traditional songs like Silent Night and We Wish You A Merry Christmas which are performed in that special melodious way only the Muppets and John Denver can uniquely provide. As Mikey says, "Try it, you'll like it ! "
