Great buy for the average power user
1 of 1 found this helpful This laptop is great for the normal power user, whether it's gaming, schoolwork, crunching numbers at work, watching Netflix, or browsing the web with many tabs open... whatever, this will handle it! It's fairly lightweight (only about 5 1/2 lbs!) and has and excellent HD screen. The only caveat I have found is the standard battery. The battery has a decent life for a 48 Whr capacity (approx 4 hrs for avg usage), but that's an easy fix by buying a larger capacity battery for those who need more battery time. Live streaming is great with it's 1.2 MP HD camera. The sound output is high quality with separate mic-in and headphone-out ports which is great for those who love to record sound while listening to what going on. The hard drive is a speedy 7200 rpm, plus has a port to add an ultra fast SSD drive. There are plenty of USB ports including the latest generation, USB 3.1, which has transfer rates up to 10 Gbps! Overall, this is an excellent buy, very satisfied.
