Affordable with great features!
2 of 2 found this helpful My sewing projects are usually costume construction and some quilting but I would like to expand my skills to include simple everyday garment projects. This machine is good for all of those things.
I spent a long time researching different Singer models. I almost got the Singer Confidence but then found this Stylist factory refurb which had more features but cost less! I can see why it got the Best Buy award.
My favorite features are the top loading bobbin (it's been on my mental wishlist for years), auto up/down needle position setting, mounted thread cutter, automatic thread tension (how did I live without this?), stitch length/width customization, and needle threader.
I look forward to using the rolled hem foot and basic embroidery capabilities.
I love this machine, it makes sewing even more fun.
