Great value and loaded with features
1 of 1 found this helpful I purchased the Yamaha Aventage RX-A3080 to replace a Sony A/V receiver that is considerably inferior in capacity and features. Having owned a Yamaha receiver before, and noticing the price point on this one, I pulled the trigger after some research. The unit sounds excellent and offered the greatest value of the quality receivers within my price range.
It was no more difficult to install than other A/V receivers I have owned and offers a little room for growth into a more elaborate setup with better sound effects.
It was a great buy and a good fit for our 25'x18' family room.
