Another Apple Accessory
This does what it needs to do. I like the USB 3.0 functionality. I hate the MFI requirement so that something that should cost $10 maybe ends up costing $30 after Apple residuals. I own both apple and Android products. I prefer the Samsung S8 for the reason that I can connect USB devices without much cost / hassle.

Great small gimbal for the price!
I have owned many gimbals. I currently own, the DJI Ronin S, The ZhiYun Crane M2 and now the Feiyutech G6 Max. I much prefer the G6 Max to the ZhiYun Crane M2. For not much more weight, you can carry twice the payload. I will be selling the M2.
The size is the advantage. I can stick it in a small backpack and get real great footage without lugging around a 5lbs setup.
Here's the downside. The app leaves something to be desired. The design is clunky. I also wish I could adjust some settings without the use of the phone. For example, the time-lapse settings. The last downside is sometimes the panning isn't smooth. You will see micro-jitters when you play the footage back. But again for the price and size, you don't expect the most refined implementation.

Good For What It Does. Not Great.
0 of 1 found this helpful It works for what I need at the moment. I dislike that Samsung and or Verizon will not support beyond 4.4. This limits its usefulness. For me a great electronic product isn't that it is the newest, but a reflection of the company's willingness to make even its legacy products fit into its schema.
