Each book features an intricate murder mystery, great characters, devious plots, & lots of twists & turns -- & each book is a real page turner.

Heartbreaking unsolved murders on Long Island
I grew up in West Islip, approximately 10 miles from Oak Beach, and spent many a summer's day on Fire Island so I knew I had to read this book when I heard about it recently during a TV show highlighting these unsolved murders. I love how each early chapter introduces the reader to one of the identified Oak Beach victims and gives us her sad back story. It details the search for Shannan, the escort who was reported missing in Oak Beach in 2010, which precipitated the finding of all the other bodies. I could visualize all the beach places mentionedand learned some things about the Oak Beach area I hadn't already known. My only minor disappointment is that there are no photos of the girls. I definitely recommend reading this well-written true crime book.
