My favorite cover-stitch machine
1 of 1 found this helpful Easy to use. It's my second coverstitch machine and my favorite. The 3 needle machine gives you the option to use a narrow 2 needle stitch or a wide 2 needle stitch. You can sew the 5/8 inch fold over elastic on this machine, but be sure to give it an inch of elastic under the foot before you start to sew so the foot has something to hold onto. You can hold the thread at the beginning, but hold them at the left side, not the back. Releasing the thread at the end is very easy. The Janome machines have the pull out section to enable you to small items in the round. Easy to thread.

Crochet Lace....the mystery is solved.
I bought this because I enjoy crocheting with thread. This book, for me, was the missing link..the information I lacked in one easy to follow along book. It starts with the history of crochet and uses it to show you how they did it back then and how you can mimic what they did today. If you want to design your own crochet lace clothing items--this is a fantastic book to break it down into a simple process. I see crochet lace in a whole new way after reading this book. I started on page one and could not put it down until the last page.
If crochet lace has been a bit of a mystery to you, then I believe you might want to acquire a copy of this book. The mystery is solved inside the covers of this book. Photos, graphs, drawings, and words.
