It's alright for volume but not quality.

If you're wanting a quality upgrade, I'd look elsewhere the 6J9 valves are the same performance as a basic output just louder.
If you want something pretty for your desk at work or at home, then go ahead as it looks much better in person than it does in pictures so I'll give it that.
It's a little expensive for what it is, and remember that tube amps require the valves to be changed every 1,000 hours or so, if you want a daily driver for audio, just buy a cheaper full chipset amp.
