Running the Sahara (DVD, 2010) DVD FREE SHIPPING

When determination edges on insane.

A 3 man based extreme marathon team actually run across the Sahara desert with deadlines, international politics and health working against them. As each man is physically and mentally pushed to the limits, the story shows how ambition and human will can overcome. A great documentary that should be getting a lot more praise.

I like the movie, the CodeBlack release is lacking.

I really liked this movie, so my 2 stars can be misleading, but here's why I vote the DVD release on CodeBlack Entertainment 2 stars. It uses a really low end format. I was able to adjust my player functions to still enjoy what a good movie this was. However, if this movie wasn't all just character based, like something that was more visually strong, I would have been very disappointed. As for the film itself, both Renner and Union put in A level performances into what is basically a low budget film with a lot of heart. All in all a pretty good movie. I hope CodeBlack steps up their game if they get more films like this.
