Asus PB278Q Monitor
I have one of these superb monitors already and just acquired a twin for video editing. This monitor has high enough resolution for most applications and color rendition is good enough for most of us. I will slap my ColorMunki on the pair.
The PB278Q is a reasonably priced option for high quality work for those of us on a budget.

I'm excited about owning a camera for the first time in many a moon.
I'm trying to recreate the Leica M experience in a modern digital camera and I think I may be a huge step closer having just acquired the X-Pro 1. It's early days yet but I love the viewfinder and the ergonomics of this camera. I did put the larger grip on the accommodate my big paws. If I can feel it the way I could my old Leica M, so I don't have to look at it to know what it's doing, what it's set at, I'll be a happy camper. For a documentary shooter this just might be the best camera out there. It feels nice and solid...well built, without going into full-on DSLR territory which is what I was trying to avoid.
