WTF happened to Gerbing?
I have owned several heated garments from Gerbing for motorcycles and always loved them. I have only owned this vest for a couple months and i hate it. The battery shuts off by itself and you don't know this until you realize your not warm and the you have to reach into the pocket and retrieve the battery to see if it's still on. The aftermarket Chinese battery that i have as a spare is actually way better that The one that came with the vest. Neither of which last for near as long as advertised. The material that is used for the trim in the vest has little balls of fabric forming all along the trim (This is normal after several years with good fabric) which tells me it's cheaply made. My friend has a Milwaukee vest that has a button on the chest, so you don't have to reach in to the pocket to adjust/power on/off the vest and it never shuts off. I will probably get one of those in the future. Not impressed at all with this purchase. If your looking for quality don't buy this one. What used to be the best heated clothing available is no longer.
