Ancor saves money now at the expense of quality.

I have been wiring vessels since the 80’s, I wouldn’t use anything else but Ancor - until now. I buy in mass quantities and still have containers from a few years ago. I purchased this same connect a few months ago and the product was good - date of manufacturing was pre-2020. The current connects are made in 2020, different packaging label, and Ancor is saving money at the expense of lower product quality. They shortened the length of heatshrink on the wire side by at 1/2 to 2/3 leaving very little for adhesion and seal. Slight movement and they are - Totally worthless - For the 1st time in 40 years, I will be finding a new source.

Great work buds!

Very good value for the investment. While they lack in bass, and from what I'm told, sound isn't very good on the receiving end of a phone call, the only difference I would make with this purchase is I would have ordered two sets! I own some nice custom made IEM so I'm picky when it comes to sound - I purchased a few different inexpensive brands for working - just to check them out - I gave most away... these are now my go-to for work! Highly recommended for the cost.
