1 of 1 found this helpful I saw this movie many years ago, and was so glad to see this movie adapted to a modern format. As hilarious and meaningful as this film is, it's an obscure one. John Ritter's character Zachary Hutton is in a writer with a Sophomore-slump, riding a never ending loop of booze and women, and can't seem to find the right way up. It's a very modern way we look at relationships, the beginnings, middles, ends and resurrections. The sharp tongue of Zach is retaliated with the sharp actions of his female counterparts. I feel that Blake Edward's really struck gold with this film. The story's characters and the casting of Jackie Burch seem to make a perfect film, it's the story of life, love, growth, maturity, loss and gain. This movie will make you laugh till you cry, re-examine where you're at and where you're going. John Ritters Best!

X delivers!
As a very picky animé enthusiast, I don't buy anime's that have characters I can't relate with. The plight and battle of the planet rests in the hands of the Dragons of Heaven versus the Dragons of Earth. A mesmerizing animé with great storytelling quality and characters you love. You get to dive into the characters pasts as who they were before they're called to travel to Tokyo to battle for the fate of mankind. A great balance of action and storytelling. Engaging, entertaining, light hearted and dark. A magnificent transition from manga to animé, with crisp and fluid animation. Aside from the main characters, Sorata, Yuzuriha and Inuki are my favorite to watch. In finishing, X makes you want to binge watch all 24 episodes in a day, but it's impossible to, because there's a lot to absorb, and it's so good you don't want it to end. X Rocks!! :D
