Great visibility
I like the wide angle that this mirror offers. It sits up high and gives a clear view of what's behind me. The only improvement to this product would be if the ball joint at the base of the mirror could be detached and replaced. I broke my previous CatEye mirror at this same juncture and had to throw the whole mirror assembly away. Otherwise, it's one of the best I've found.

Great for weight, not so great for temperature
The weight feature seemed to work well. I weighed my husband's empty bowling bag, and it said 1.51 pounds. Then I put his 14 pound ball in it, and it said 15.62 pounds. However, when I switched it to temperature, it said 44 degrees Celsius and 111 degrees Fahrenheit. (Our house is currently at 79 degrees Fahrenheit.) I turned it on and off several times, but it still said the same thing. I walked outside where it is 75 degrees Fahrenheit, and it went up to 45 degrees Celsius/113 Fahrenheit. I opened our freezer door and held it in the cold air for over a minute. Even when I turned it on and off, the temperature didn't budge. After it sat on my table for a while, it said 43 degrees Celsius/109 Fahrenheit. Even so, we bought this primarily for the weight feature, and that is easy to use. Please note, the instruction booklet doesn't tell you that there is a small piece of clear plastic covering the battery terminals. When I first turned the unit on and nothing happened, I thought it wasn't working at all. The plastic wasn't very obvious even after I took out the battery. I could only see it after inserting a slender object in the battery compartment.
