Works, cheaper the a Lisle which is built much better
1 of 1 found this helpful Will get the job done but will require more patience in getting the tool in place. The black steel that makes the loop on that cylindrical piece the threaded rod runs thru fits very loose which causes the tool to wiggle around alot. To some that may not change anything but with big ole hands like mine using this in the bottom of the case it can be a pain to get locked into the right grooves and the curved jaws set where they will compress equally and not bind on the case in the ctr.

Cheaply made
Bent on the 1st attempt to compress the door spring in a 1998 s10 blazer door, never able to compress enough to put it back in place.
Will old school it with a vice and some mechanics wire.

Cheap to buy but not a good deal in the end.
Inside of 3 months and already getting loose. Not a crashed/bent car, and everything in the front end was changed when i changed the bearings. The warranty looks like i "may get 1 replacement" and after lasting less then 3 months and only driven maybe 500 miles i`m likely gonna buy a name brand like timken so i don't go thru this again.
They were torqued to manufacture specs on day 1 as well! Don't buy
