Used for fuel transfer, gasoline, on a boat
My boat has a 60 gallon tank for gasoline and often at the end of the year I still have quite a bit of gasoline left in the tank and although I use a conditioner the gas does not get used up and in some years the hold over to the next season is too much and there is no way of removing the gas from the tank. The boat manufacturer installed a device in the fill line that prevents syphoning the gas, which is nice as people like to steal the gas out of boat tanks. Thus I installed a valve and a one way feed valve to allow fuel removal. But that also requires a pump and I used a manual pump but the rate of flow was too low taking way too much time to drain the fuel. So with this 12 volt pump I can pump out the fuel to an auxiliary tank. Of course the flow rate is not what one would want for rapid flow out but a back flow check valve solves that problem. Thus I can hook up the small pump and using a float operated stop valve I can fill an exterior tank and when full the flow stops automatically but also included in the set up is an electrical interrupter to shut down the pump thus a double safety is assured.

A solid product that provides the quantity of air that's needed
5 of 6 found this helpful Of course this blower is not for wimps as the more air forced through the more power is required to do it and with more power comes more weight. I would say that this blower achieves the right balance of power to weight. I would not recommend this product to those who are not physically capable such as a sore back or legs, but, that said there just are physical limits as to power versus weight. It seems a bit heavy in the hands but once on your back for me at least it is no big deal and I am 83 years old.
As usual for Husqvarna equipment, quality is evident but still prices are below the premium brand levels. I have Husqvarna in chain saws and also in zero turn mower with 54 inch deck that I have had for four years with absolutely no problems at all.
