Pros and Cons
Chair lift came in, it does work, but only if your elderly can lift at least 30% of the way up first. It is a beautiful cover, but should not be used with any office chair on wheels. Better for a stationary chair or sofa, with arm rests. Even though it is reasonably comfortable to sit on, in its open/up position, it is about 10-12 inches above the chair which is not pleasing to look at asthetically, a chair cannot be tucked in position under a table when it is in it's up position.

Great investment for semi-mobile individuals
This is a great chair for those who need a lift! It is better for those who still enjoy some measure of mobility by themselves. Never use in an office chair, or any furniture on wheels. It is very pleasing to look at aesthetically and it will stay closed when placed on a chair to tuck under a table, if needed, unlike other manual lifts that tend to stay in the open position at all times. The only disadvantage is the cord. It isn't that it is too long, it is just that the senior must remember it's down there and not trip on it.

Sad it died!!!
I've purchased two of these machines because they match my kitchen line of Frigidaire. They both died at the nine month mark, probably from excessive usage. I love the look of this machine and it does fit under most cabinets quite nicely. I miss my machine, as the second one recently died last week!
