Retrofit into 763e with pill smoke . pw whistle
1 of 1 found this helpful Change smoke init to pw pill. Retruck tender to pre or post war trucks install motorized whistle. Repaint gunmetal or black. Original tender trucks amd sound are the worst ever made ny Lionel. Oil smoke unit is a mess. Gets oil on engine and creates reside on surrounding area.

Item is not Lionel but An off sized Richart part
It is listed as Lionel and ot is not Lionel. It is a look alike part that was intentionally sized different from Lionrl by Richart company of Endocino California. I ordered this part with other Lionel parts to complete the 6 wheel truck. Lionel parts do not fit these. Richart axels and wheels do not fit Lionel axles and wheels diameters and holes sized smaller. But when you look at side by side they look the same. AI would not pick up on this. Nor an employee who does not actually try fitting the parts togeater.
