Always a great idea to have some of this authentic Ludwig strainer cord in your gig bag or tool box for your drums repairs..... Thats if you have vintage stuff. Newer snares have nylon strapping instead of cord. I had my cord break and stuck without any cord. Had to use an E string from my guitarist...lol
