They work

I have a few older dial indicators. One didn't have a tip on it, just the threaded hole. These allow me to use it to dial in parts on the 4 jaw with that indicator. They work. Price is nice, too.

Worth the time and money

This older generation of model engineers had fertile minds, great creativity, and attention to detail. This is a well written, beautifully illustrated manual detailing the construction of a pillar tool and a dividing head. Lots of information applies to any project, so it is a valuable resource.

I works

I was a bit hesitant to buy this due to it's price. But it has worked well for me. I use it to view the cutting edges of tools. It works fine for me. It was very simple to install, and works as advertised. I use it primarily on the 20X setting. Very small lettering is readable. The LED's that supply illumination are good, but really need to be directly overhead to alleviate shadows. I'd buy it again, and I do recommend it for basic enlargement. it comes with a mini CD. If you pc doesn't have a dvd player, be aware.
