Best beginner DSLR
3 of 3 found this helpful This is great upgrade to the rebel series. From the 45 points of auto focus to the expanded ISO range, this is by far the best beginner DSLR and arguably the best APS-C. If your just getting started in photography this is the camera for you. The camera doesn't take 4k video, but at 6.0 fps 1080HD it's no slouch and is fully capable of amateur filming. If you have a T6 I dont see a big reason for upgrading to the T7i. If your looking to take the net step you might as well go for the 80D. All that being said I love this camera and the only gripe i have is the body itself. For the money pit into DSLR cameras ALL of them should be weather proof. This camera is not going to handle the elements well, so dont get it wet
