Very useful but not Parfocal
2 of 2 found this helpful I'd heard rumors that this FD 35-105mm is parfocal, meaning that it keeps focus when zooming. I can confirm that my copy is not. It's a wonderful piece of glass. It's very useful and the range is GREAT for the price but it might not fulfill that magic cheep/parfocal video lens dream. For walking around, I'm finding it to focus close enough in non macro mode but not close enough for at the desk pixel-peeping test shots. ;).
