Good price, decent performance. Wish it was a little faster though
First off, I'd like to say that I am not a fan of AMD products, but it's what my laptop came with so I had to make do with what I had. That being said, the TL-66 was a substantial bump in performance over the TK-57 that my laptop came with (500MHz difference). It was very easy to install although difficulty will vary from laptop to laptop based on how accessible the CPU is. On my laptop I just had to remove a panel from the bottom, but some computers will require almost complete disassembly. These chips are not exactly new or groundbreaking, and they won't set any land speed records compared to any modern Intel CPUs. Even compared to similarly clocked Intel Core2Duo chips, they lag behind in performance. But it was a very affordable upgrade option for an older AMD laptop and, along with a larger, faster hard drive and maxed out RAM (4GB of DDR2) it is allowing me to squeeze another year or so of service out of a computer that is getting a little long in the tooth.

great way to add capacity to your virtual infrastructure for cheap
For the price, this was an excellent value. I used this RAM in an IBM x3650 7979 (first gen). Works great. I use this as an ESXi host.
