OEM quality is worth safeguarding the timing of your boxer engine. Sad to see that Gates cut costs with their timing belt kits for Subaru so consider this a solid insurance policy. These bearings (if installed properly) will last 95-100k miles without hassle

OEM or bust
Once known as the Gear-S oil, this is the only stuff my manual transmission Subarus have seen in them.
