Leaves large gap in magwell
Pearce Grip plug does not sit flush inside magwell of Gen 4 and 5.

Cool idea, terrible execution
TLDR version: Poor fit, pins are too long and jab into your hand, rough edges, low quality plastic vs oem backstraps.
Like many others, I ordered this product to make the glock grip angle feel like a 1911. The package comes with 2 grip adapters (a longer and shorter) with 4 pins. The pins are way too long and I doubt hardly anyone would be able to tolerate the excess pin stabbing into your hand using a modern, high tang, pistol grip. The edges where the adapter mates to the frame is rough as well. Using sandpaper I trimmed the pin to the correct length and smoothed the edges. Still, the adapter performed unremarkably. The gun did not point like a 1911 and felt cheaper and less stable than an oem grip strap.
Save yourself the money and skip this part.
