Milwaukee m18 is the best system!
Charged them both and started sinking screws into Doug fir and it was amazing. The combination of the battery and the new surge impact drives 3” screws all day long without stopping to recharge. I went through two big boxes of screws on the one charge.

Don't miss this great HBO mini-series
1 of 1 found this helpful The Band of Brothers CD's cover the entire HBO mini series that I had heard about but had never seen. I could not find it in local stores and went to the internet to get it. If you are a war movie buff, this series is for you! It starts with a group of boys in Basic and follows them through World War ll .
From an unpleasant drill instructor that was moved somewhere else because of his treatment of newbies, to his re-appearance and incompentence with the group once again during the war.
I loved the entire series. There are two one hour episodes per DVD and I think it is six or seven DVD's.
Enjoy, I did.

Battery life is amazing
I needed to make a retaining wall out of pressure treated 6 x 6’s. I dug holes every 4’ and placed 48” vertical posts. I then placed 8’ 6x6’s horizontal. To keep it all together I used 10” long timber screws. More than 50 of them. I drove the 10” screws into the posts and into the layer below each row.
Using a 5.0 ah battery I drove more than 30 screws before it started to not sink them all the way. The impact worked great, far better than I expected. When I was changing the battery I noticed that the 1/4 “ fitting on the tool was super hot. I don’t know if it was from the friction between tool and but holder but it was really hot.
The impact driver was slightly warm. I changed the battery and sunk the ones sticking up from when the battery was firing, and drove another 33 before changing out the battery again. Great tool and pretty quiet too!
