Troubled not what I expected

First off you have to understand any kind of dirt they can get into this valve cause it not to work properly. First they did not wrap it or seal it in plastic to protect it. Second the gasket on the bottom is damaged third there's a spindle valve coming halfway out or better and I do know if it's in place. I don't think it's right. It's a lot of trouble to install if it's not.
