Good value if you are not in a hurry

I am using two of these with a Supermicro AOC-STGN-I2S REV 1.01 Dual Port 10G SFP+ Intel 82599 Network Adapter. They appear to work fine and the price was good. The hard part was waiting for them to arrive, they took almost a month to arrive.

Compairing the "Genuine" card to the bulk card that I have the two cards look identical

Comparing the "Genuine" card to a bulk card the only difference I can see is the "genuine" card has an extra bar code sticker and cost more. LSI no longer manufactures these cards so I have to wonder if all of these cards are "Knock off" cards. I was able to flash my card to P20 and then back to P16 with no issues. The P19 and P20 firmware only recognized the brand new hard drives (SATA-III) I had plugged in. I had to flash the card to P16 for the card to recognized both the new drives (SATA-III) and old drives (SATA-II) that I wanted to use.

So far it works but is it really an LSI card or a "white box" brand?

I purchased this item to be used with FreeNAS. I was able to flash the card to "IT" mode without any issue. The card appears to work fine so far but I cannot say that I have ever received a card from LSI that looks like this. The packaging is generic and the card doesn't have any stickers or labels on it. Every other LSI card I have purchased has had both packaging that has the LSI brand on it and the cards have always had some kind of sticker with a serial number and or part numbers etc. Even comparing this card to another LSI 9211-8i I purchased some time ago that actually came in an LSI box and has serial and part number stickers, the branding on the old card is much more prevalent. It actually has the LSI logo printed on the board. To me, this card looks like a "white box" product.
