Do your research first... but this can be mind-blowing.
Do your research first. This can only be used in PCIe x16 slots bifurcated to 4x4x4x4. So your Motherboard must have two x16 slots; one for your GPU and one for this storage option. Also check your BIOS allows you to set the bifurcation needed on one of those x16 slots. Lastly the card is extraordinarily long. Double check your case can hold this.
With all that said, when deployed with four NVMe drives, the IOPS is mind blowing. I use it for a caching and cube storage on a GIS application. It is hardware RAID for some of the fastest Storage available to the common SysAdmin. Pair it with a fast GPU and you have a screaming-fast transoding Plex server. You can edit and scrub video in real-time. 8-O

Great Storage, but don't forget the bracket.
This is exactly what I needed, I forgot to check if the bracket was half height or full height. I now find myself looking for a full height bracket worth less that $2. I cannot mount it in the server the storage was purchaced for until I find a compatible bracket.
So check that you get both brackets, or at least have the size you need. :-)

Whisper quiet servers
The size and speed make this a great Boot / System Volume. I was able to reduce the fan noice to a whisper on all my processing servers. Even my Storage server running at very low noise levels. Just need enough air flow to move some cool air over the Heat Sinks. Two Noctua fans and good ducting, and you cannot hear the servers over the HVAC.
