Don't waste your money!
7 of 39 found this helpful I have owned just about every brand of rifle scope on the market. I bought the Vortex because of the great reviews, but this is the worst scope I've ever owned! I've experienced veiling glare on some of the lower end scopes, but nothing like the Crossfire II. At first light, the scope will completely white out and you can't see a thing! And it's nothing to do with the weather. Vortex said that the rings were over tightened, but I torqued them to 16 in/lbs per Vortex's instructions. I sent it back to them and they sent a new scope....it does the same thing! When I called the second time, I was told that it was due to improper eye relief, but that isn't the problem at all. The third time I called, I was told that neither of the above were the cause, and that ALL scopes do this at low light. That's it - nothing to remedy the situation! So much for their VIP Unconditional warranty! I'll never buy another Vortex product.
