ViewTV DA-290 Indoor / Outdoor Compact Yagi HDTV Antenna for Roof or Attic

The way to go

My wife and I decided to try and get free local TV. We had tried the flat, leaf antennas but could not get all the channels we wanted. I then read the reviews for the ViewTV DA-290 and decided to try this one. I hung it to a support beam in the attic with a couple of nails, ran a cable to a 3-way splitter, then ran cables to the TVs. I then ran the "search for channels" option on the TVs and crossed my fingers. We picked up the channel that we could not get with the flat leaf, plus a few more we did not expect. Picture quality is A+ on both TVs and could not be happier with the result. The antenna is very light weight and very easy to install. The 65 mile range is accurate and I highly recommend this antenna.

Magellan Maestro 4250

This is the first car GPS device that I have ever owned and I am very impressed with it. I own a business and I bought this in order to find addresses in a timely manner. The screen is detailed and is partnered with AAA. It comes with voice activation options and it does help you with several warnings when turning, so you can pay more attention to the road and traffic. There are so many options on this GPS, I have not even got to all of them yet. The downside to this device is that the map is a 2007 and there are enough changes to make a difference on new additions to some interstates. I checked on a 2009 updated version for my Magellan Maestro and would cost $75, which is too expensive in my opinion. I believe that the Magellan Maestro 4250 is a very good purchase and look forward to years of service.
