Perfect fit
This unit is an exact replacement for the fuel pump assembly on the Volvo Penta 5.7L GSi engine with the throttle body fuel injection system. The high pressure pump outlet is 30 psig. Be careful if you have the later model fuel injection system with the fuel rail as this system requires a 50 psig pressure pump. This pump fit in place of the original part but you do have to re-use the inlet hose adapter and the outlet hose adapter from the old pump. On the unit I received the cooling water line was about 6 inches short but I was able to reuse my old hose so it was not a problem. Be sure the check the length you need. Mine required a 28 inch long 1/4 inch hose. The hose supplied was only 19 inches in length.
