Spring assist lift gate
This a very positive review
This item is well made, but it doesn’t work with a lift gate that is spring assisted.
The placement of the cables on the gate doesn’t matter as the lift springs will not let the gate stay on the ground, the gate stays level with the trailer bed.
It would work as designed if the springs are removed and I’ll be tackling that job soon.
