One of my favourite books.
Hunter's lyrics are a huge part of what I enjoy about the Dead, and this book shows (in many cases) that what he wrote is better--although, sometimes, just longer--than what was sung. His commentaries about the experiences writing for the Dead are funny, interesting, and add to an appreciation if the lyrics. Anyone who is a fan of the Grateful Dead, American poetry, or song lyrics, will find something to enjoy here! One of my favourite books, and my copy was stolen during a move many years ago, wonderful to have this back in my collection!

Art Models 5 DVD
As a professional artist, I rely on live models when I have a particular project in mind. To get ideas for those projects, though, I rely on an extensive system of files--increasingly, files of digital imagery. This series of books has been invaluable for helping to plan modelling sessions (including lighting as well as poses), and in some cases, hiring a live model has been unnecessary! This is a great series, with numerous valuable poses in 360 degree views. Definitely recommended!
