A must for Kodi

So I decided to use an old Dell Optiplex 755 as an online entertainment computer. I loaded Kodi in order to watch movies and listen to music. I had a Core 2 Duo 3 ghz processor and thought it would work but the movies would end up buffering a lot. I discovered that the Core 2 Duo processor was being over tasked when Kodi was running, pushing it over 90%. I found the Core 2 Quad Q9650 on Ebay and bought immediately. It arrived early and looked practically brand new. It only took 10 minutes and a dab of thermal paste to get my computer up and running again. Now when I run Kodi, the processor shows only a 40% tasking. Better yet, my Windows Experience Index went from a 6.8 to a 7.3. As old as this processor is, it is still relevant in todays computers.

I like using older parts in my computers...

I like using older parts in my computers because they are so much more reliable. This is my third purchase of the Dell 19 in 1 media/flash card reader and I could not be happier. Windows 11 immediately updates the drivers once powered up. These are needed for anyone that has a digital camera and wants to edit or store pictures on their computers.
