Excellent quality
Much more heavy duty than any I have used, however, strains on tough skinned mushrooms unless the stems are removed and cap is turned gill side up as the underside ring of the button is stiffer than the top and the wires cut effortlessly with little pressure as opposed to mashing and straining the wires that cutting from the top does. The stems can be sliced separately. Extra steps take no significant time unless you're doing a huge quantity. Great tool!

Great Design
This is my first mechanical pencil with the "cap off" feature as with a fountain pen. The only fault I find is that Pentel - long a manufacturer of superior products - does not make a matching pen for these great looking pencils - c'mon Pentel, I'll buy any ink pen you can make to match. R.C.

Good for all outdoor uses
1 of 1 found this helpful This knife is out of the box sharp and can handle any outdoor chore, within reason, from skinning and dressing game to cutting all manner of rope to sharpening spears, pegs etc. The grip is outstanding as is the balance and heft for such a compact package. A hearty thumbs up to Gerber.
