  I told the seller that I would have this shipped via a forwarder and I was kindly hoping for a discount, unfortunately, I wasn't given any. He replied "No, Thanks." so I proceeded with the bidding.I was so excited to have won the bidding at 1.6kUSD but only to find out 4 days later that it will be cancelled. The reason is that the seller will only ship to US-based ebay members and not to freight forwarding addresses.This wasn't mentioned at all in the description though.

  The buyer is based in the Philippines, which is island country of Southeast Asia. My auction clearly states that it was to only ship within the United States. The list of excluded region/countries does show Southeast Asia being one of them. The freight forwarding service address has had multiple complaints for lost packages from other eBay sellers and I am unwilling to take the risk with a high value item like this.
