Delivers as advertised
This unit is from a different era when CDs and DVDs were all the rage but people still remembered what a record and a cassette tape were. Hooked up to a Yamaha receiver and a real 5.1 ch audio system this unit delivers as promised. Sound is excellent. Picture quality just below HDMI but still sharp and clear. Yes there are now better systems w/ 4K picture, but can they hold 300 CDs/DVDs and play like a jukebox? This one does it all. One major complaint which was never addressed in a decade - its difficult to load titles and artist info. You’ll just have to deal with that technology. But for what the unit is supposed to do, it delivers without fail.
