Great quartz watch!
0 of 1 found this helpful You can't do better than a Shinola for a quality, USA-made timepiece. I would go so far as to say it's heirloom quality (I would be thrilled if my dad leaves me his Shinola). This particular watch is gold-plated which makes it a bit dressier, but the quality crafted leather band allows you to wear it casually as well. For a US-made timepiece with a quality leather band and sapphire quartz, you can't go wrong if you find one new under $300. It's a prestigious brand that even Swiss-watch aficionados respect.

Nice looking casual watch
I know that Invicta has its detractors, but I am somewhat of a fan. The Invicta watches I have are all durable, keep time accurately, and draw a lot of compliments. This particular watch is very nice looking. Although it's described as a women's watch, the size is actually on the larger size for a women's watch and it would be absolutely suitable for a man who prefers a bit of a smaller case size. It's not dainty by any means. It's chunky and the grey on the watch face is stunning. One complaint I have about this watch is the two sub dials which are probably more about style and functionality. They are for the day and date, and the date especially is too small to read. There is a separate inset button above the crown on the side of the face that allows you to set the date separately, but on my watch, it's a bit temperamental. Fortunately I decided that the date dial is too small to read anyway, so I'm not going to worry about setting it. The other complaint I have about this watch is the the luminescence is virtually worthless, but this seems to be common in Invicta watches. The band that comes on it is stylish, well made, and comfortable.
