Solid replacements for any 18V NiCd Battery Pack
Got these to rebuild one of my dads Porter Cable 18V 1.5 Ah NiCd packs as a test because I was tired of watching him swap between 3 more or less dead packs. Was abit worried about heat damaging the cells as I soldered them together, but they definitely proved they can take thermal abuse.
I was fairly skeptical that they would actually end up being 2.2 Ah as advertised, but all I can say is wow, theyve held up well in his circular saw and drill, if I hadnt done the replacement myself I would of thought someone crammed some lithium cells in the pack, they put the original 1.5 Ah when they were new to shame.
So if you have feel comfortable soldering stuff carefully, or have a battery tab spot welder, I definitely recommend these for NiCd rebuilds.

Kind of worth it.
I replaced my original Nexus 7 2nd gen battery with this after it would only run for 2-3 hours after about 3 and a half years of heavy heavy use. This replacement battery is no where near the original capacity. It only holds around 3300-3350 mAH of capacity, which is 15% less than its supposed to.
I would recommend you look elsewhere if you need your Nexus 7 2013 to run more than 6 hours of casual internet/youtubing like it did when it was new or if you are utilizing the tablets full performance.
