Perfect
My puppy ate my Tab E 8.0 and that got me searching for a new device. I prefer the 8.0 size since I can fit it in my pocket (snug but doable) and I can do everything I need on the internet, so I focused on another 8" tablet. On this device I'm able to make calls, it will hold a 128 GB microSD card (mine has 119 GBs of music, books, and images on it and it works fine), the S Pen allows me to really work on improving my digital sketches. I was unsure about the margins at first, but read a review about how nice they were for gripping and I'll admit it, I'm now a fan. My Tab E had almost nothing to grip, which made holding it awkward at times. With this I can latch onto it without worrying about affecting the screen - which is important if I want to do surf with one hand and hold it with the other without any strain. The only downside so far is that I haven't built up the confidence to root and update the OS. It still runs on KitKat and is no longer being supported. If I could upgrade that then I could probably keep this device for years without worrying about replacing it. By the way, I put down that the battery life isn't great. It also isn't bad - it's just not as efficient as my Tab E (I don't think). However, it is technically doing more, since I'm using it for art in addition to everything else. Also having a larger SD card in there probably messes with things a bit. The device I received also arrived completely dead, so it may need a new battery. If battery life concerns you, don't use my review to decide if it's ok. I am still getting an easy two days' of use out of it before recharging, so I shouldn't be as critical as I am being.
