Easier and quicker than tacks!
They’re easy to use and fairly cheap, they’re a bit thin and would be better if they were really made of brass instead of aluminum with a brass finish.

Incredibly well processed leather-this smells good enough to eat! Truly the best thing next to real brain tan, it's awesome, I highly recommend it.
I can't afford real brain tan, and right now don't have the time to make the real thing. This smells like a campfire, just great, not only realistic but it is good scent camouflage for primitive hunting! I can honestly tell you this is the best thing out there next to real brain tan. It will make museum quality replicas and real working items that smell exactly like the real thing. With no work involved. It is a bit stretchy but all commercial leather is. I do wish that the tanners took a bit more time and care with the scraping because there are quite a lot of scores and cuts, which really cuts down the amount of usable material, and for the price, they should take more care, it is hard picking out a hide with the least holes and score marks on it, and harder working around the damaged areas. They should not worry about scars or uneven colored areas, this isn't even a problem, it actually looks more realistic on the items. Just take more time and cut down on the scores and holes, that's it. Great product, very well made and like I said- it smells so good. Maybe offer some thicker hides, I got the 4-5oz., thickest I could find, and I am glad I did! Any primitive craftsmen or women out there looking for a substitute for actually making brain tan, here it is!
