Design Change Not for the Better
I have one of these that I bought a couple of years ago and ordered two more recently. they changed the depth of the arms so that my phone with an Otterbox Defender does not fit securely in the new ones. In my old one it sits back nice and deep and snug with the arms extended well past the front of the phone. On the new ones the phone barely seats into the arms and pops out if disturbed at all (hard bump, etc.).
Too bad.

Too Heavy for Gimble Motors
Too heavy for the gimble motors. Doesn't work with a factory refurbished Phantom 3 Professional gimble.

Ridiculous "security" device
This "security" device can be defeated by simply unscrewing it from the mount and pressing the reset button on the back for 2 seconds which clears all codes and resets to the factory code of 1234. It's ridiculous as a security device. I took JB Weld and covered the reset button as well as the four screws to take the back off so at least any would be intruder would require more than 30 seconds to defeat the pad. Were it not for my need for a grounds keeper to have a code I would have never bought such a ridiculous "security" device.
