Replacement PCB for Ideal HE15 boiler
Genuine part replacement for (amongst others) the Ideal HE15 boiler.
The PCB is configurable, via some links (supplied) so that it works for a number of boilers, but it's easy to fit once you have worked out the permutation that suits your control panel (the part with the lights and the temperature dial on it).
Instructions are provided to help you work out which control panel you have (based on the numbers on the back of the panel) and then you insert the links into the slots on the PCB, so it knows which panel it's connected to.
It fits by just inserting it into the slot on your boiler.. then connecting up the 5 or 6 connector blocks. Just make sure these are pressed home tightly.
Once you have fixed your PCB, send the old one off to be repaired, so you have a spare for next time... but otherwise my old one lasted 10 years, so this one should too.

Good cover for long-term outdoor use
This particular cover is custom made to fit the Fiat 500.
In terms of fit, it's pretty good but could be a bit better. The sides of the cover extend right down to the ground for great coverage.. but the cover is a bit baggy over the rear window, as if the car roof should extend back another 6". You need to remove the aerial to fit it and the cover does not have a "pocket" for the aerial base, so that could wear through in time. I stick a sponge to the aerial base to protect the cover.
Otherwise it has the usual features of the Mobile Garage range.. a draw-string to tighten the cover round the car (very secure), a soft inner liner and a very durable outer skin.
I've had a few of these covers. They are not entirely waterproof - water does pass through in time, although out of the bag it seems to have a repellent coating. It'll be waterproof for a few months but then leak.. but it's permeable from the inside out so the car dries out and it's better off under the cover than without it. The cover keeps dust, grit and leaves off the car very well.
These covers resist UV very well but are not immune. You can get 3-4 years of permanent outdoor service from one, which works out about a tenner a year. Marginally cheaper than the plastic/foil covers that ;ast just 7 or 8 months.
