FitMi Therapy Exercise Technology for Hands, Arms, Core, and Legs

Great concept, product could be better.
I like the concept of the device and, from a caretaker's perspective, it seems like a good way to gain control of your rehab from a stroke and motivate someone to keep a home therapy routine. I do think the user interface is simple enough for any stroke patient to navigate on their own. I wish the program had a few more settings, like being able to reset scores, mute or change the sound controls, or adjust the screen. The pucks work well for most exercises, but one of the early ones on the legs I couldn't even get the puck to register my able-bodied efforts. The other limitation is the exercises may not be encouraging for a highly disabled patient who is early in their rehab. The first arm and leg motions involve some pretty decent function from a few muscle groups to even get started on your own. Sure, you can do them passively with assistance, but how do you get 'credit' if you finally transition from passively to actively? Likely one can do many more reps passively than they can actively. Nonetheless, its the only gizmo on the market like it and it is better than nothing, so if you find encouragement from it - its worth the ebay price at the least.
