Excellent text but needs better photos
This book is a very good reference for anyone wanting to hack, repair or mod any of the covered game systems, the only real negative about this 2004 book is the photography, it's black and white and of poor quality, for detailed close ups of circuit boards etc. It's just too hard to see much, color photos would be of great help to see color wiring, but with poor quality B&W you just have to guess or figure it out. Too bad the book did not have a newer revised edition with updates such as newer models of the PS2 and of course add new color photos. But overall a really interesting book.
